Howl's Moving Castle: The Series – Part 1
By Harriet Pennick. Fan fiction based on the books by Diana Wynne Jones Tonight, we start a new series in the Moving Castle. It's a grey January Tuesday, a few weeks after the Christmas that turned up three centuries late. Sophie is sorting letters addressed to the castle itself when something heavy grinds to a halt outside the front door. It's a cottage. It walked here.
Its owner, Tamsin Bell, is a bookkeeper who has followed her grandmother's house on foot for three days. She would very much like it to stop.
This picks up from our two fan fiction novels. If you've not heard them, start there: The Winter King and The Witches' Halloween Masquerade.
Jamie reads this one, in a warm, calm voice that suits a slow morning in the castle. About forty minutes, then soft music to drift off to. Content Timing
00:00 – Welcome and settling in
00:07 – The House That Walked
40:25 – Soft music to drift away Thanks for keeping this open for all of us. Sweet dreams.
